M&T Bank Stadium opened in 1998 and shares its parking lots with Oriole Park at Camden Yards next door — the ballpark that started every retro stadium built since, with the B&O warehouse, 1,100 feet long, standing behind right field. North-west the Bromo Seltzer Tower still carries a clock face with letters instead of numbers. East is the Inner Harbor and the National Aquarium, with Federal Hill looking down over the water and the Domino Sugars sign on the south shore. Further out sits Fort McHenry, where in 1814 the sight of the flag still flying after a night of bombardment gave Francis Scott Key the words to the American national anthem.

The number in the top corner is your clearance: how close you came to the roof of the stadium as you crossed it. Lower is better, because that is the entire point of a flypast. Under twelve metres is where it starts to get interesting.
Gold rings sit along the route — sixty points through the outside, a hundred and fifty for the inner ring, three hundred for a bullseye, which also builds a combo up to three times. Once a lap a line of blue rings takes you seventy metres up and over, and everything scores double up there. Player jerseys and real pieces of history float on the circuit; fly through one and it stays in your collection on this device.
Seagulls. A single one you can dodge; a flock is too wide to go around, so go over or under it. Fly long enough and the light goes, the floodlights come up and the rain arrives. From the second lap on, each lap sets you a challenge worth between fifteen hundred and twenty-five hundred points.
