About the game

Peekaboo Pals is a small world of animal surprises. A friend hides behind a tree, a pile of leaves or another object, and the player reveals it with a simple gesture. The animal responds with movement and a sound.

Different scenes ask for different actions: tap, hold, wipe or follow a trail. Jungle, woodland, snow and seaside settings give the discoveries their own atmosphere. A sticker book records the animals you have found.

Inside the build

How Peekaboo Pals was made

The scenes combine illustrated backgrounds, animal artwork and separate hiding objects. Keeping those pieces separate lets a gesture reveal the animal gradually, rather than simply replacing one complete picture with another.

Each animal entry defines its setting, movement, interaction and sound. The same interaction system can therefore support a swinging monkey, a rising rabbit or a walking lion, while the artwork changes the feeling of the scene.

The game keeps its interface direct, using visible prompts and large interaction areas. Its collection mechanic provides continuity between discoveries without requiring a fast reaction or a complicated set of controls.
