About the game

3D Fly Pass is about the tension of staying low. Climb when you need clearance, skim the stadium roof for points and keep away from the ground and seagulls as the city moves underneath you.

The game began with a Cape Town flyover and now includes a choice of grounds. Each venue has its own stadium and surrounding landmarks. Flights are short enough to invite another attempt, while score challenges give a returning player something specific to beat.

  • Low-altitude stadium flights
  • Multiple venues and city scenes
  • Score challenges and selectable flyers

Inside the build

How 3D Fly Pass was made

Three.js builds the stadium, terrain and flight scene. The current project creates the essential objects first, then adds more of the city progressively. This lets the first frame appear before every scenery element has finished building.

The game adapts its detail to the connection and device. A lightweight paper plane can appear before a larger mascot model is downloaded, while the frame rate informs later quality choices. Music and additional models are loaded separately.

This arcade copy is imported from the current Fly Pass repository. Its shared leaderboard and live match information remain connected to the Fly Pass service. The underlying game also has its own standalone site and venue pages.
